“Following a national search, The Venture Center board of directors has unanimously appointed Arthur Orduña as the organization’s next executive director. He succeeds Wayne Miller who helmed the nonprofit startup group before taking another job out of state.
Orduña will guide and facilitate the organization’s growth, strategic direction and corporate innovation and entrepreneurship programs, including its award-winning fintech program.
He starts effective January 16, 2023.
‘The Venture Center spent the last nine years building an incredible springboard for entrepreneurial pursuits,” said Orduña. “I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the organization’s role in forging long-lasting and high-impact relationships to build a culture of innovation here in Arkansas and beyond, and I’m confident our next growth phase will build upon Arkansas’ reputation as a tech hub with a dynamic future.’”
