Goodwill Arkansas Launches "The Great Give" Campaign

Goodwill Arkansas is committed to changing lives through education, training and employment. Funds generated through the sale of reusable donated goods at Goodwill stores throughout the state can help create jobs and fund critical training programs. In the last fiscal year, Goodwill Arkansas served 14,533 individuals and helped 6,173 Arkansans attain jobs with businesses statewide. Most recently, Goodwill Arkansas opened The Excel Center®, the first post-secondary option in the state for adults 19 years and older to return back to school and earn a high school diploma rather than a GED.

Stone Ward partnered with Goodwill Arkansas to develop “The Great Give” campaign that showcases the direct impact of how giving makes a difference in lives right here in our state. The agency helped create an informative website, https://goodwillar.org/the-great-give/, which explains that whether you donate household goods and clothing at more than 40 different locations, shop in one of the more than 30 Goodwill Arkansas stores, or even make a cash donation, you can feel good about your Great Give.

In addition, the campaign highlights four Arkansans whose lives were changed because of Goodwill Arkansas' programs. Goodwill recognizes there is more to managing the challenges of life than a job. Through donations and store sales, Goodwill Arkansas provides resources for youth, families, persons reentering the workforce and persons with disabilities.

The Great Give campaign embraces the philanthropic spirit of Arkansas, and whether you donate or shop, you are providing a fellow Arkansan a second chance at life.
