360 Filmworks brings home three Silver, two Bronze Telly Awards

Stone Ward’s video production team joins elite Silver Telly list, only awarded to 10 percent of entrants

Little Rock, Ark. (July 21, 2016) – Stone Ward’s video production company, 360 Filmworks, recently announced its recognition by the Telly Awards, receiving three Silver and two Bronze Tellys for its work with the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission and the University of Arkansas System’s eVersity.

“We are truly humbled to be among the winners of this prestigious awards program,” said Tommy Walker, director of broadcast production for 360 Filmworks. “In collaborating with both eVersity and the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission, our team produced unique videos that relay informative messages to viewers in a creative, entertaining fashion, and we’re happy to have played a part in these clients’ visual stories.”

The Telly program, now in its 37th year, accepted nearly 12,000 entries from all 50 states and some internationally, deeming it one of the most successful and competitive contests in the program’s history. Founded in 1979, the Telly Awards is the premier award honoring outstanding film production. Winners represent the best work of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators and corporate video departments in the world.

360 Filmworks awards included:

Silver Telly (Film/Video – Non-Broadcast Productions, Videography/Cinematography): Arkansas Game & Fish Commission, 100 Years of Conservation

360 Filmworks has won numerous Telly Awards for its creative video production services over the past several years. Its award-winning “How to eVersity” video was made possible in part by generous donations from the Tyson Family Foundation and former Arkansas Governor Mike Beebe.

This year’s Telly winners include companies, agencies and organizations of all sizes, from large multinational media companies to small advertising agencies and local production houses. A sample of winners include: AOL Studios, BET Networks, Bloomberg, CBS Interactive, Comcast, Conde Nast, Discovery Communications, ESPN, Fox, HBO, Hearst, HuffPost, Microsoft, NBC, The Guardian, The History Channel, Time Warner, and the Wall Street Journal. A complete list of winners can be found at www.tellyawards.com.

A prestigious judging panel of more than 600 accomplished industry professionals, each a past Silver Telly winner and a member of The Silver Telly Council, judged the competition, upholding the historical standard of excellence that Telly represents. The Silver Council evaluated entries to recognize distinction in creative work – entries do not compete against each other, rather entries are judged against a high standard of merit. Less than 10 percent of entries are chosen as winners of a Silver Telly, the program’s highest honor. Other outstanding work is awarded a Bronze Telly.
